Expressionless to Sin, Alive in Christ

6What shall nosotros say, then?^(A) Shall we get on sinning so that grace may increase?^{(B) ii}By no means! We are those who accept died to sin;^(C) how tin can we alive in it any longer? ^threeOr don't you know that all of u.s.a. who were baptized^(D) into Christ Jesus were baptized into his decease? ^fourWe were therefore buried with him through baptism into decease^(Eastward) in society that, merely every bit Christ was raised from the dead^(F) through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.⁽¹⁰⁰⁰⁾

⁵For if we have been united with him in a death similar his, we volition certainly likewise be united with him in a resurrection like his.^{(H) half dozen}For we know that our former self^(I) was crucified with him^(J) so that the body ruled by sin^(K) might be done away with,^[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin^(L)— ⁷considering anyone who has died has been set free from sin.^(M)

⁸Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will besides live with him.^{(N) 9}For we know that since Christ was raised from the expressionless,^(O) he cannot die again; expiry no longer has mastery over him.^{(P) 10}The death he died, he died to sin^(Q) once for all;^(R) but the life he lives, he lives to God.

¹¹In the same manner, count yourselves dead to sin^(South) but alive to God in Christ Jesus. ¹²Therefore practise not let sin reign^(T) in your mortal body then that you obey its evil desires. ¹³Do not offer whatsoever part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness,^(U) only rather offering yourselves to God as those who accept been brought from death to life; and offer every office of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.^{(V) fourteen}For sin shall no longer exist your primary,^(W) because you are not under the law,^(X) but under grace.^(Y)

Slaves to Righteousness

¹⁵What so? Shall we sin considering we are not nether the law but nether grace?^(Z) Past no means! ¹⁶Don't you lot know that when yous offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey^(AA)—whether you are slaves to sin,^(AB) which leads to death,^{(Air conditioning)} or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? ¹⁷Just thanks be to God^(AD) that, though you used to be slaves to sin,^(AE) y'all accept come to obey from your heart the blueprint of teaching^(AF) that has now claimed your allegiance. ^xviiiYou have been set gratis from sin^(AG) and have become slaves to righteousness.^(AH)

¹⁹I am using an instance from everyday life^(AI) because of your human limitations. Only as y'all used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, then now offer yourselves every bit slaves to righteousness^(AJ) leading to holiness. ²⁰When you were slaves to sin,^(AK) yous were free from the control of righteousness.^{(AL) 21}What benefit did you lot reap at that time from the things y'all are now ashamed of?
